Hello from Miss. Walker

Monday 30th March 2020

Dear 3W,

Hello! I hope you are well and are having fun at home. Mrs. Monaghan and I have been thinking of you and missing you.

I will update this page from time to time, so keep checking back for new ideas.

Here's a few ideas to you might want to try. I have been thinking about being thankful. Why don't you keep a diary of thankfulness? You could write in a notebook or type up one thing you are thankful for each day. Then, at the end of each week, you could read it back or share it with your family and you would have 7 things you are thankful for!

Another idea is to write an acrostic poem. That's when you write the letters of a word down the side of the page and each line has to begin with one of those letters. Some of the children who have still been in school have written lovely poems using the word Spring. You could use other words, such as flower, home, learning or family though.
Eg.
Sunshine is all around.
People begin to come outdoors.

Make sure you keep active. In school, we have been doing the daily work out with Joe Wicks: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAxW1XT0iEJo0TYlRfn6rYQ or you could have a go at a few go noodles, if your parent/carer doesn't mind signing up: https://www.gonoodle.com

Lastly, since we were about to learn this in school, why not have a have a go at learning Moana, How far I'll go and perform it for someone. The video should appear below.

Stay safe my sunshines and keep singing Happy Birthday to me as you wash your hands!

Love from,
Miss. Walker :)

P.S. I have now met my 20 books goal for this year. In fact, I'm now reading my 23rd book since September!
