At St. Paul’s School, our aim is that our pupils reach their full potential both academically and socially. PSHE in school supports the personal, physical and emotional development of pupils as they grow into rounded and well-balanced young people, who are equipped to deal with life and make choices in a responsible and thoughtful manner.

To this end we have developed a PSHE curriculum in line with current national guidelines for PSHE. Some PSHE is taught via links with other subjects through topic-based teaching. Some PSHE is taught through a half-termly, school wide theme which includes assemblies. Our curriculum covers 3 key themes: health and well-being, relationships, and living in the wider world. PSHE is delivered by school staff, and supplemented by external providers (which include, LOVEWISE, The LA Road Safety Team and Health Works).
