Some years ago parents requested that their children should wear a school uniform. We think it cuts down on arguments about designer jeans and the latest trainers. It also prepares the children for school.
The basic colours are red and navy blue. Red sweatshirts with the school crest are available from the school office throughout the school year.
The main items of school uniform are a red sweatshirt, jumper or cardigan, a white blouse or shirt, a navy blue or black skirt or trousers, navy blue or white socks and black shoes.
Girls may wear red and white checked dresses in the summer term.
For PE children require shorts and T-shirts (not tops with straps) and gym shoes or trainers (without laces for younger children if possible).
Black shorts and red T-shirts with the school crest are available from the school office throughout the school year.
In the interests of safety and security, jewellery must not be worn at school.
Girls who have pierced ears may wear studs for school, but they need to be removed for PE and swimming lessons.
