Autumn Term 2021

We have had an excellent start to the Autumn Term in Early Years.  We have all made new friends and are learning lots of new things together.  We have been thinking about Ourselves and Our Families and have found out that we have families that live all over the world!

We are also looking at traditional tales and have explored stories such as Little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks, The Three Little Pigs and many more!

We are also learning poetry every day! We are trying to learn 10 poems before Christmas. Below you can read the poems we are learning. We are starting to recite the poems ourselves in front of friends, teachers and family.
We have all settled well into St Paul's Early Years, thank you to our parents and carers for all your support. Here are some photos of what we have been doing so far.
Here are the poems we are learning in the Autumn term.
So far we have learnt:
Chop chop!
Leaves are Falling
A Basket of Apples
Cup of Tea
Breezy Weather
Wise Old Owl
We hope to share videos of our performances too!
We are so thankful to be able to pair up with Year 6 for reading buddies.
We shared books together and also performed some of our poems to them.

Thank you Year 6 for being so kind to us and welcoming us to the school family.
