PSHE at St Paul's

At St. Paul’s School, our aim is that our pupils reach their full potential both academically and socially. PSHE in school supports the personal, physical and emotional development of pupils as they grow into rounded and well-balanced young people, who are equipped to deal with life and are capable of making sound choices in a responsible and thoughtful manner.  As a team, we are committed to supporting our pupil to develop into caring and considerate adults who treat others well, who have a strong sense of self-worth and know how to look after themselves and each other.  We want to develop their sense of responsibility - for themselves, for each other, for our school, our local environment and on a larger scale, our world.  We want the pupils of St Paul's Primary to celebrate difference and diversity; to develop a sense of self-worth and an appreciation and understanding of others.
To this end we have developed a PSHE curriculum in line with current national guidelines for PSHE and RSE.  Our curriculum covers 3 key themes: health and well-being, relationships, and living in the wider world. PSHE is delivered by school staff, and supplemented by external providers (which include the LA Road Safety Team, LOVEWISE, and Health Works).
